Our Mission
To provide the KAUST Research community with programs, services, communication channels and a governance framework that support excellence and global impact.
The Office of Research Administration is the only authorized team at KAUST that provides administrative and contractual support in applying for, negotiating and managing internal and external funding. Click here.
The Office of Research Publication Services (RPS) supports KAUST faculty members in the presentation and publication of their research in peer-reviewed journals by providing editing, scientific illustration, and scientific photography services. With a team comprising editors, scientific illustrators, and a photographer, RPS seeks to assist faculty members in communicating their science so that publication decisions are based on the merit of the work and not on the quality of their grammar, presentation or illustration skills. Research Compliance coordinates the University’s regulatory framework for research safety and ethics review via four faculty-led committees, the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), the Institutional Biosafety and Bioethics Committee (IBEC), the Institutional Radiation Safety Committee (IRSC) and the Diving Control Board (DCB) for scientific diving. Research Compliance also promotes policies and activities pertaining to the responsible conduct of research.Click here.
